Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long is the wait to get into the haunt?
A: The wait varies depending on the day/time you arrive. Generally, the wait averages out to be about 30 minutes, but it can also take up to an hour from the time you purchase your ticket to the time you enter The Catacombs.

Q: How long is the haunt itself?
A: Everyone goes through a haunted house at their own pace. It can take as little as 10 minutes or up to 20 minutes, depending on your speed. Our experience begins as soon as you purchase a ticket.

Q: Do you have inside waiting?
A: YES. Aside from one small area where you are required to walk outside to the next building, The Catacombs are completely inside.

Q: Is this haunt too scary for my children?
A: The Catacombs are designed to scare you and prey on your weaknesses. We do NOT recommend this attraction for children under the age of twelve (12), but as the parent and/or guardian, we leave that choice completely up to you.

Q: What if I cannot make it through the haunt?
A: We have exits within our tunnel and a highly trained staff that will get you out if you or your child cannot make it through. Please note that there are NO REFUNDS for any reason.

Q: What types of effects do you use?
A: We use fog, strobe lights, different types of scents, loud noises, uneven floors, tight spaces, and of course monsters. If you are pregnant or have any medical condition that might be affected by anything you would normally find in a haunted house, we ask you to consider this before you purchase a ticket.

Q: How can I get a discounted ticket?
A: For starters, you can purchase a ticket online starting October 1st and you will only pay $9.00 - we cover all of your service fees as well! We also have postcards located at some of our sponsors' store fronts. Please note that all discounts are valid for one person only, with the exception of online tickets.

Q: Are you wheelchair accessible?
A: Due to the age of the building, we are not 100% accessible to the handicapped.

Q: Is there anything else I need to know before I come?
A: Any other info you may need can be found on our DISCLAIMER page. Other than that, we just ask that you come out and enjoy yourself!
